This is Callie!

She is 100% a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.  Stubborn, vocal, strong and beautiful, and she has me (her human mama) wrapped around her big paw.  It was love at first sight, while we picked her up at 8 weeks, the breeder sent a picture around 4 weeks and that was it,  no other creature would do.   While I have always loved dogs, she is my first to actually train and develop into a working dog.  This breed is not the easiest to train, so I am in over my head and she is quick to take advantage of this fact.  At this point – age 3, she is always at my feet at home, a half body length ahead on heel and happy to come to me when she is ready.  Training Callie will be a life long journey.  It make take a few more years than usual, but we will eventually craft her into a trained hunting companion.
